Get help
Email [email protected]. Or, in the app, go to Settings, then Support request, then Send feedback or get help: it adds your app version and device details for you. Say which parent’s Apple Account you signed in with, what you were doing, and what you expected. We usually reply within two business days. Please don’t send us a password or a photo of your child; we never need either.
Common questions
How do I pair my child’s device?
On your phone, go to Settings, then Kid devices, then Pair a device. Choose the child and you get a code. Type it on your child’s device within 10 minutes. If it expires, ask for a new one.
How do I sign out a lost or handed-down device?
Settings, then Kid devices. Sign the device out there and it stops working straight away.
How do I delete my account, or remove a child?
Both are in Settings in the app. Deleting your account removes you; if you are the last parent, it removes the Sidequest family and every child in it. Either one leaves our live systems right away. What happens to backups is in the Privacy Policy, section 7.
How do I stop Sidequest collecting about one child?
Withdraw your permission for that child in the app. Their own devices are signed out, a device they share with a sibling drops them, and their history stays until you remove them. You can give permission again later (Privacy Policy, section 3).
Can I get a copy of my Sidequest family’s information?
Yes. Email us and tell us your Sidequest family’s name. We’ll write back to the email address Apple shared with us when you signed up (your private relay address, if you chose Hide My Email), and send the copy once you reply from there.
